🎉 Congratulations to Lakeshea Love, PharmD, MBA, BCPS, on her appointment as Director of Pharmacy at UNC Health Southeastern! 
With more than 20 years of leadership experience in hospital and health system pharmacy practice, Lakeshea has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to patient care, medication safety, and operational excellence. Most recently serving as Pharmacy Manager, she has played a key role in advancing pharmacy services across our organization. 
We are excited for Lakeshea as she begins this new leadership role and look forward to the continued success and innovation she will bring to our patients, teammates, and community. 💙

UNC Health Southeastern leaders traveled to Raleigh Convention Center on Thursday, Sept. 10 for UNC Health’s bi-annual ONE UNC Health Leadership Conference. Presentations were given on culture change, smart growth, and service spotlights. As part of a community partnership opportunity with Ronald McDonald Houses across the state, attendees were invited to make cheer cards for patients and their loved ones.

Labor Day Operational Schedules

Most UNC Health Southeastern and UNC Health Medical Group clinics and facilities will be closed on Monday, September 7 for the Labor Day Holiday. Please note the following exceptions:
• UNC Health Southeastern Fitness Centers: Open Normal Hours
• UNCHMG Urgent Care Centers: The Clinic at Walmart, Open 8 a.m. – 2 p.m.; UNC Health Urgent Care at Health Mall, Open 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.; and UNC Health Urgent Care at Pembroke, Open 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Lumberton Fitness Center Renovation Update

UNC Health Southeastern Fitness Center Lumberton is excited to announce that its upgrade project has expanded to include new flooring. This addition, however, has required us to extend Phase One until September 14.

We appreciate your patience and understanding throughout this project. We are looking forward to sharing our fully renovated facility with you in the near future!

Lumberton fitness center members are reminded they may utilize UNC Health Southeastern Fitness Center Pembroke, located at 923 W. 3rd Street, during the upgrade phases. Hours of operation for our Pembroke facility are Monday through Thursday, 5 a.m.-9 p.m.; Friday, 5 a.m.-8 p.m.; and Sat, 8 a.m.-noon.

More details about the adjusted schedule, as well as the cardiopulmonary rehabilitation adjusted schedule, October phase, and the Pembroke facility’s upgrade will be announced as they are finalized.
