Hello everyone!!๐Ÿ’š

Taylorโ€™s health journey is still ongoing and God is not finished His great work in him just yet! We recently celebrated one year of a successful liver transplant and some other medical needs have presented themselves. With the medical care needed, there comes the expenses. As we still work to pay off debts, the additional funds needed are not manageable for us right now. So we want to ask that you pray and consider contributing to Taylorโ€™s further medical expenses. Thank you for loving us and praying for us! ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’š

๐Ÿ’š ONE YEAR ๐Ÿ’š

Iโ€™ll never forget the night we got the call telling us that a deceased donor was able to give Taylor the liver transplant he needed. Two of our closest friends were at our apartment who have been prayer warriors with us through this whole process. They cried tears of joy and relief with us and helped us pack for the hospital.

We got to the hospital late that night and woke up early the next morning to get ready for this surgery we prayed so long for. The UVA transplant team was AMAZING and I could not have asked for better care for my guy. Before surgery began, all of our family that was there took turns praying over Taylor and the doctors. He was in surgery several hours. To me, felt like an eternity. Family and friends came from near and far to show love and support when surgery was over and he recovered in the hospital. We are so blessed to have so many good people in our life.๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ

The recovery process has been a long road for Taylor and is still not over, and has certainly had its ups and downs. However, one year has given us a much healthier Taylor. He and I have gotten to do so much more this year and be present in life with others. We also moved into our first ever house! We have loved getting to work together to make our house our home.๐Ÿ’š

So many blessings and adventures have happened for us this year and we are so grateful for how good our God is. Thank you for being a part of our story, for supporting us and praying for us along the way, and for continuing to do so when we need it! We would not have made it without our community.

Please continue praying for the donorโ€™s family. While we are celebrating life, thy are still mourning a loss.

We love you all!๐Ÿ’š

So proud of my TJ ๐Ÿ’š

Doctors, nurses, and the physical therapist have said Taylor is doing so well and are saying they canโ€™t believe his transplant was just on Monday!! He is doing such an awesome job following this big surgery!๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ

Please continue praying for his recovery journey.๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ

Please also pray for the family of the donor. Though we are celebrating life, they are grieving a loss.๐Ÿ’”

HE DID IT๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ

I am so so beyond proud of my Taylor for getting through his transplant surgery today!!๐Ÿ’š

We woke up to a beautiful sunrise and spent time in prayer to get ready for the day. We know God has planned every. single. detail. He continued to prove that as the doctors performed this surgery we have prayed for for so long. โ˜€๏ธ

He was in surgery for about seven hours today and he will now have some recovery time here at the hospital. Doctors said he is in incredible shape for such a major surgery and there were zero problems! ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ

THANK YOU for helping us get here, for all the love and prayers, and for making yourselves available to us in so many ways. This is the biggest step in overcoming this disease and I canโ€™t believe he has accomplished this!! As you continue to pray for us, please pray for Taylorโ€™s comfort as his body heals, for his body to accept the transplant with no issues, and for him to continue to feel the strength he needs to recover. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ

Our Lord is so good and faithful and we are singing our hard-fought hallelujah!!!๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’š

๐ŸฐThis Easter Sunday, take a cue from these bunnies and give yourself a break.

Itโ€™s okay to skip the egg hunt or say no to plans if youโ€™re not feeling up to it. Fatigue is real and can be difficult to manage. Be kind to yourself and take the day at your own pace. ๐Ÿ’›

This World Liver Day 2025, we're shining a light on Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis (PSC for short) โ€” a rare and complex liver disease still often called โ€œthe last black box in hepatology.โ€

While research has come a long way in recent years, thereโ€™s still no cure or effective treatment for PSC. The need for progress is urgent โ€” and you can be part of the change.
