Good Sunday afternoon, I've spent the majority of this past week contacting my clients on Blue Cross Advantage PPO and Enhanced Plus plans letting them know there are changes coming and assuring them Blue Cross didn't cancel their plan and they need to find something else. Which is what a lot of our competitors are telling them so they can sell them their product. You can keep the plan, it's just not available to new customers anymore. Starting this week, I will be making appointments to go see every one of them over the next few weeks to review the changes and their option to stay or move to another Blue Cross plan. If your current agent doesn't do that for you then you need a new agent. The agent at the end of a 1-800 number from another state will not be calling you if your plan changes, You may get a letter that's going to end up on your counter or in a pile with all the other insurance junk mail you get. You won't find out until you need it or the enrollment period has passed. If you are worried or confused about your plan and options or just want to ask a question that agent 1-800 is not calling you back about then please reach out to me. If you will be turning 65 soon and don't know the whole process of signing up for Medicare Parts A & B and when to get started I can help you with that as well.
