I kept one lil loc in the back creating a signature look for myself! I haven’t had this cut in nearly 15 years as I explored the many things my natural hair can do, I had my hair locked 3 times in all 3 different ways over the course of that time frame and now I’m over it. I felt a nudge to make a drastic change, as I do periodically! Never been a person afraid to cut my hair, it’s freeing for me and uplifts me internally, in ways I can only express through how I show up in the world. As far as the color, I’m always drawn to this same shade of red even when I’m attempting to do another color my hair only wants to be this color other than black! Interesting 🤔 but it’s my undertones that shines through every time!

Moral of the story, embrace the changes that arise from time to time. Nothing is permanent or has to be, and everything can be changed again and again!
