Advanced wound care can require more than traditional dressings. 🩹

At Lymph Therapeutics, MIST wound treatment is one of the advanced tools available as part of individualized wound care.

MIST uses low-frequency, non-contact, non-thermal ultrasound technology to support the wound-healing process without the treatment device making direct contact with the wound.

Every wound and every patient is different, which is why treatment begins with an individualized clinical assessment and care plan.

💚 Lymph Therapeutics provides mobile outpatient lymphedema and wound care throughout Chester, Delaware, and Montgomery Counties.

Lymphedema management is about more than simply reducing swelling.

Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT) brings several treatment strategies together to help manage lymphedema and support long-term results.

Depending on an individual patient's needs, treatment may include manual lymphatic drainage, compression, therapeutic exercise, skin care, and education for ongoing self-management.

At Lymph Therapeutics, our goal is not only to provide treatment but also to help patients understand their condition and feel confident managing their care between visits and after discharge.

Have you heard of phlebolymphedema?

It occurs when chronic venous insufficiency places an increased fluid burden on the lymphatic system. Over time, the lymphatic system may become overwhelmed, resulting in both venous and lymphatic dysfunction.

Common signs can include persistent lower-leg swelling, heaviness, skin changes, fibrosis, recurrent cellulitis and venous wounds.

Recognizing that chronic swelling may involve both systems can be an important part of getting appropriate evaluation and developing an individualized management plan.

At Lymph Therapeutics, we provide specialized mobile outpatient lymphedema and wound care throughout Chester, Delaware and Montgomery Counties.

A wound may be what you can see, but sometimes there’s more happening beneath the surface.

Chronic swelling can affect the tissues surrounding a wound, contributing to skin changes, tissue congestion, and other challenges that may complicate wound management.

That’s why looking at the whole limb, not only the wound, is so important.

At Lymph Therapeutics, our approach brings together specialized lymphedema management and wound care to address each patient’s individual needs.

Our mobile outpatient therapists come directly to patients throughout Chester, Delaware and Montgomery Counties. 💚

Great care goes beyond treatment; it’s about being reliable, providing clear guidance, and helping patients feel confident about what comes next. 💚

At Lymph Therapeutics, we focus on each patient’s individual journey, from supporting wound healing and managing lymphedema to providing education and a clear plan for maintaining progress after discharge.

Our goal is to make sure patients understand their care, know what steps to take, and feel supported throughout the process.

Because successful treatment isn’t only about the progress made during therapy, it’s also about giving patients the knowledge and tools to maintain it. 🌿

Lymphedema and lipedema can look similar, but they aren't the same condition.

Lymphedema involves a buildup of lymphatic fluid, while lipedema involves an abnormal distribution of fatty tissue, most commonly affecting the legs and sometimes the arms.

There are also important differences in how each condition may present. For example, lymphedema can affect one side and may involve the feet, while lipedema is typically symmetrical and often spares the feet.

And in some cases, the two conditions can coexist.

Understanding these differences matters because the right approach to care begins with the right evaluation.
