Fighting against Breast Cancer

After so many years of volunteer work in the field of preventive medicine, we are pleased to inform all of you that our family has decided to form an organization that is oriented to helping low income women get their medical mammography examination. The name of our organization is LA FAMILIA PINK and aims to make a frontal fight against breast cancer. Our mission is to educate the general public

through research publications, lectures, health fairs, prevention and the internet, on ways to reduce breast cancer incidence; to help and serve patients and their families fighting breast cancer or in the recuperation stage of the disease. Through our fundraising efforts and the support of our volunteers, we hope to improve their lives and make a difference for the better of our society. After forming our legal entity, the days that follow are very important because we will be contacting representatives of health centers and institutions to develop our projects and join them in the fight to defeat breast cancer. We are very optimistic with faith in God that we could achieve the success we want to benefit hundreds of women who need our help. Nothing is easy but it is not impossible either, and today more than ever the dreams of this family begin to come true. We do not pursue fame or glory, only an altruistic ideal that gives meaning to our lives when we help others. Sincerely,
