Progress doesn't always look like a lower number on the scale.

Sometimes progress looks like…

✨ Feeling a difference in your energy and body within the first few days.

✨ Realizing you don't need to spend hours working out to see results.

✨ Finally stepping away from the cycle of eating less and doing more cardio.

✨ Learning how to fuel your body instead of constantly trying to restrict it.

✨ Finding a way of eating and moving that actually feels sustainable.

These are the kinds of wins my clients are sharing—and honestly, these are the wins I love the most. ❤️

Because after 40, your body is changing. The things that worked in your 20s and 30s may not work the same way anymore.

It means it's time to work with your body instead of fighting it.

More fuel.
More strength.
Smarter workouts.
More recovery.
Less restriction.

And a plan that fits into your actual life.

That is what progress can look like.

If you're a woman 40+ who runs, works out, eats “healthy,” but feels like your body isn't responding the way it used to, you're not alone. And you don't necessarily need to eat less or exercise more.

You may just need to put the right pieces together. 💪

Looking for an easy way to hit your macros without prepping food or cooking for 30 minutes at lunch?

I love these Kevin's natural foods products. They are high in protein and paleo so they are low in sugar.

Chop up whatever vegetable is in your fridge, saute that along with the pre-cooked chicken and any rice or noodles if you want, add the sauce and you're ready to go.

Tell me if you've tried this brand and what flavor is your favorite 👇

This is how I make macro eating easy and fit into my life.

After 40, doing more to lose belly fat isn't the answer, prioritizing muscle is.

This means having more metabolically active tissue, more strength, better body composition, and a stronger body to carry you through the next 20+ years.

And more muscle does NOT mean you’re going to get bulky. 💪

You need to start prioritizing it.

30 minutes.
3–4x/week.
Progressive strength training.

That’s where I’d start. 👊

Comment STRONG if you’re ready to stop doing more and start training smarter.

You’re doing more cardio, but your belly isn’t getting smaller. 🤔

That doesn’t mean you need to run more or add in more cardio classes.

As your body changes, your strategy needs to change, too.

Think strength + enough protein + strategic cardio + recovery—not endless miles or hours

You don’t need to do more.
You need to train smarter. 💪

🧷Save this for your next training week.

You didn't suddenly become lazy.

You didn't lose your work ethic.

You're probably doing MORE than you were 10 years ago.

Maybe you're running the same mileage you've always run. Maybe you're training for a race and your mileage has actually increased.

But your body isn't responding the way it used to. 😔

Your waistline is changing.
Your clothes fit differently.
You're not recovering as quickly.

And you're wondering why all that work isn't translating into the body you want. 🤷‍♀️

This is where I see so many women over 40 make the same mistake:

They do more.

More cardio.
More workouts.
Less food.

But your changing body needs a more strategic approach.

💪 Progressive strength training
🥩 Enough protein + personalized nutrition
🏃‍♀️ Strategic cardio
🚶‍♀️ Walking/Zone 2
🧘‍♀️ Recovery
😴 Quality sleep

And yes—I still run.

But running isn't my entire fitness plan anymore.

Because I'm not training just to burn calories.

I'm training to build a strong, capable body that will carry me through the next few decades.

If you're over 40, active, and feel like you're doing everything right but your body is changing in ways you don't want…

Maybe you don't need to do more.

Maybe you need to train differently.

That's exactly what I help busy women 40+ do.

If you’re over 40, still running, still working out, and wondering why your body isn’t responding the way it used to…

DM me SMARTER and let’s talk about what needs to change.
