Part 1 of Bottle Refusal
A baby who won’t take a bottle isn’t a problem to muscle through — it’s a clue. Before we try five different ni***es or brands, I want to know *why* baby’s saying no first. That’s what actually gets you unstuck — not trial and error, a real plan.
The whole time we’re working through it, we protect what’s already working. Breastfeeding stays baby’s secure home base while they learn something new — one doesn’t have to replace the other.
And every baby moves at their own pace. Some catch on fast, some need real time — that’s not a red flag, it’s just their timeline. Respecting it is part of the plan, not a delay in it.
