The grocery store is full of “healthy” brands owned by the same massive corporations. Especially after the avocado oil/olive oil scandal, there’s no better time to double down and support independently owned brands, that haven’t sold out. Find out the only truly safe avocado oil you can buy right now ➡️

In 2020, UC Davis did another study, looking at avocado oil authenticity:
📣of 36 private labeled avocado oils, 31% were pure and 36% of advertised quality
📣lower-priced oils were more likely to be tainted with other oils.

One of the few oils that passed the purity testing then were from Primal Kitchen, Chosen Foods and Mariannes Harvest (still pure). But now that the 2026 study showed Primal Kitchen and Chosen Foods products didn’t pass the avocado oil purity testing, I’m a lot less confident in buying their avocado oils.

Find out all my favorite healthy oils to cook with in the last slide! Note that olive oil has a very low smoke point, so it should not be used for higher temp cooking.
