You’re at the hospital alll day then still have to go home and study
Your entire grade can depend upon how charismatic/liked you are 🥸
You’ll carry your own patients and present them to the attending
You can be responsible for consults (know as much as possible about your patient 😭- they will grill you)
Waking up at 4-5am will be normal to you particularly on specialties such as surgery and OB-gyn
One good interaction with a patient can carry your whole day 🫶🏽🫶🏽
You’ll learn there’s more to being a doctor than learning diseases and talking with patients
Some moments you’ll feel part of the team, but it’s also normal to feel invisible 🥲
