Putting the finishing touches on my clinic space almost 8 months after opening the doors, and I couldn’t be more excited to finally share the finished product soon ✨

Building a space that feels calming, healing, and aligned with the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine has been such a rewarding process. Every detail was chosen with intention to create an environment where patients can truly relax, restore balance, and support their health naturally through acupuncture and TCM.

So grateful for everyone who has supported me along the way — I can’t wait to show you all what it’s become ❤️

This past weekend I had the opportunity to attend ASA 2026, and I’m still feeling inspired and energized by everything I learned. One of the highlights was hearing Ayla Wolf speak in person—her work beautifully bridges acupuncture and neuroscience, exploring how the nervous system responds to needling and how we can better understand the mind-body connection through both Eastern and Western perspectives.

It’s always incredible to see how modern research continues to validate what this medicine has known for thousands of years. Experiences like this deepen my commitment to bringing thoughtful, informed care back to my patients here in Mankato.

✨ Supporting Fertility Naturally with Moxa on DU 4 ✨

If you’re on a fertility journey, you may be exploring gentle, supportive therapies alongside (or instead of) conventional care. One powerful technique we use in acupuncture is moxibustion (moxa) on DU 4 (Mingmen)—a point located on the lower back that’s deeply connected to reproductive health.

🌿 From a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) perspective:
DU 4 is known as the “Gate of Life.” It’s associated with Kidney Yang energy—the vital warmth and vitality needed for healthy reproductive function. When this energy is weak, it may present as fatigue, coldness, low libido, or fertility challenges.
Applying moxa (a gentle, warming herbal heat) to DU 4 helps:
• Warm and tonify Kidney Yang
• Improve circulation in the pelvic region

Lower back pain is something many parents know all too well!

The muscles of the lumbar spine work hard to support your body—especially when you’re bending and lifting your child. Repeatedly picking up kids with poor posture can strain these muscles, leading to tightness, pain, or injury over time.
