Practicing.

No performance. No fixing.
Just movement, breath, and being in the body.

Slow. Intentional. Intuitive.

Letting that be enough today. šŸ’–

My faithful and trusted companion joined me on the mat this morning, reminding me that stillness and presence are just as powerful as movement. 🐾

Many people believe they need an hour of yoga to feel results, but what really makes the difference is consistency. Just ten minutes of mindful breathing or gentle movement can shift your entire day and, over time, create lasting change.

This is what I help my clients discover: practices that are realistic, calming, and deeply supportive, even in the busiest seasons of life.

✨ Curious what your own ā€œten-minute practiceā€ could look like? Send me a message and let’s chat. 😊

This past month in my classes, we explored Tapas, a yogic principle often described as the inner fire. It's the quiet discipline that invites us to keep showing up for our body, our breath, and our well-being, even when it's hard.

Tapas isn't about pushing or perfection. It's about staying present, moving with intention, and noticing the subtle shifts that happen over time: a deeper breath, a steadier stance, a kinder inner voice.

If this resonates with your practice or if you’ve been navigating a season of quiet growth, you may enjoy the reflection prompt on my new blog post.

Feeling grateful for this kind and thoughtful review that landed this week šŸ’›

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with students at all stages of life, from those just beginning their journey to those stepping into the role of teacher. To know that our time together continues to support someone’s path is incredibly meaningful.

Thank you, Jessica, for your generous words and for allowing me to be part of your journey.

Recently, I’ve been guiding clients through a theme that feels especially relevant right now: the practice of allowing.

It’s a quiet, powerful shift in how we relate to our thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations. Rather than trying to fix or manage what arises, we practice simply being with it.

We’re not forcing the body into a specific shape or trying to tidy up every feeling, we’re simply meeting each moment with awareness.

Like a river that keeps flowing, our inner landscape moves through us. When we let go of the need to hold, resist, or analyze, something within us begins to soften and unwind.

The body, especially the hips, often asks for that same gentleness. Not just to release tension, but to be acknowledged with presence. Through mindful breath and supported movement, we create space to feel what’s there, physically and emotionally.

If your mind or body feels full this week, try this:

Sit for a moment.
Breathe gently.
And repeat:
Allow. Allow. Allow.

Sometimes, the most healing thing we can do is create space to be exactly where we are.

Wishing you moments of stillness and peace. šŸ™šŸ½āœØ

Happy Earth Day! šŸŒŽ 🌳🌿🌼

Make sure to get outside and enjoy this beautiful weather and this one lovely planet we have.

Touch some grass, feel the breeze, listen to the birds.

It’s a simple and powerful way to regulate your nervous system.

Gentle yoga can be a powerful ally in easing sciatic pain—not just by addressing the physical discomfort but by inviting presence, breath, and self-compassion.

When we slow down and listen to the body, we create space for healing to unfold naturally.

If you’re moving through discomfort, this blog post is a soft invitation to pause—and a quiet reminder that you’re not alone.

Wherever you are in your process, may you meet yourself with tenderness and care.

Love & light šŸ’–

This week in class, I could feel the collective sigh as we settled into our stretches. Whether you're feeling a tight lower back, tender hips, or a restless nervous system, you're not alone. Our bodies are always changin...

Practiced yoga outside today for some much-needed time in nature.

Intentionally stepping away from the noise for a moment of stillness to lie in the grass, feel the sun, listen to the birds, and enjoy deep, healing breaths. ā˜ŗļø

I hope you found some peace today too šŸ’–

The Spring Equinox reminds us that balance is not perfect stillness—it's learning to move with life's rhythms. As the light begins to stretch out longer than the dark, how can we cultivate that same harmony within ourselves?

In my latest blog, I explore how breath, movement, and mindful awareness can help us find stability in motion—both on and off the mat.

Click the link to read more and step into the season with intention. ✨

The Spring Equinox is a threshold, a fleeting moment of perfect balance before the light stretches out longer than the dark.

Just a little reminder that ALL bodies are yoga bodies—no matter where you practice, how you move, or what you’re wearing. Keep moving, keep exploring, keep having fun, and most importantly, keep being uniquely YOU! 🄰

03/10/2025

Just a little reminder that there’s incredible power in the pause—in that space between breaths where clarity and intention can unfold with ease and grace. šŸ§˜šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø
