This small home keeps coming up in conversation, it has made such an impression on people. What was a dull gray, I livened up with a lighter (brighter) color and a shutter color that brings out the stone on the home. It has proven that even a smaller home can make a big impression!

A unique home in so many ways, this home looks small from the front but as you turn the street corner, it’s a very deep home with a large rounded porch, with open and enclosed porches on the back. I chose colors to bring out the architectural features without competing with its unique design!

I loved working with these homeowners as they updated their home. Adding a new front entrance and side addition, they asked me for the best colors to pull it all together! I gave them colors to accentuate some details while making others disappear. That’s what being a color expert is all about!

If there was ever a home where new colors brought it back to life, this is it! The wife told me their house had no curb appeal, but they bought it for the inside layout. She was stunned at what a difference the new colors made, and fell in love with the home once it was done. What a wonderful home (and great people) to work with!

Every home has a story to it. This homeowner wanted to have the color of her home remind her of the Carribbean waters where she grew up! By adding a new body color and contrasting trim, it also accentuated the architectural details, it was a win-win! The homeowner couldn’t have been happier with the new look for her home!

I have not posted lately because I am incredibly busy with my color work. Choosing colors for a contemporary new build, the homeowner did not realize I work on older homes as well. Sharing a few photos of a project I am also working on, here are several pieces of this stunning old home I’m creating a detailed new color palette for. I can’t wait for when she is completely rebuilt and reassembled, and of course painted using my new colors!
