What a weekend it’s been! Carter participated in a natural history study at the ctnnb1 connect and cure conference to help gather more data on ctnnb1 syndrome. Mom, dad, Cohen, and Carter all have blood samples for comparative testing. We’re so proud of Cohen for stepping up to the plate! He didn’t even give it a second thought when asked if he would give a blood sample for research 🥹 We learned about the latest research efforts and findings and man are we leaving full of hope! Can’t wait until next time 💙💛

🎉💙 HAPPY 7TH BIRTHDAY, COHEN! 💙🎉

Today we’re celebrating a very special boy — Cohen — who is officially SEVEN! 🥳🎂

Cohen has a pretty important role in our Caring for Carter family. He’s not only Carter’s big brother, but also one of his biggest cheerleaders, helpers, and supporters. 💙

Being a big brother isn't always easy (especially when you're seven 😉), but Cohen has a way of bringing smiles, fun, and a little bit of normal kid life into Carter’s world.

So today, we celebrate YOU, Cohen! 🎈

Wow, you're all amazing!!! Because of YOU we were able to raise nearly 💲24,000 for Carter and CTNNB1 Syndrome. We truly believe that a cure/treatment is very close. In fact, there is a gene therapy in clinical trials right now where 2 treated patients are seeing improvements. 🧬💊

Your generosity is going to help:
1. Allow us to travel to Boston for a CTNNB1 Conference. At the conference Carter will participate in a natural history study - which will help him be a candidate for future trials.

2. Allow Carter to attend a 3-week intensive therapy in Chicago.

3. Maintain his weekly out patient therapies (Speech, Occupational, and Physical therapies)

4. Continue research for treatments and/or a cure.
