You're eating less.

You're trying to make better choices.

You're exhausted all the time.

And the scale still won't move.

Sound familiar?

One of the most overlooked causes of weight loss resistance is insulin resistance. Long before blood sugar becomes abnormal, insulin resistance can make it harder to burn stored fat, increase cravings, drain your energy, and leave you feeling like your metabolism has completely stopped working.

In this video, I explain why insulin resistance can block weight loss and contribute to fatigue—even when you're doing everything "right."

Want a simple way to support better blood sugar, fewer cravings, and easier weight loss?

Start with fiber.

Eating fiber before your meal can help slow the glucose spike from the food you’re about to eat. That means less of a blood sugar roller coaster, better insulin response, and often fewer cravings later.

This does **not** mean you have to eat perfectly.

It means you can use one small strategy before meals:

Add fiber first.

Try:
🥦 broccoli
🌱 chia/flax
🥑 avocado
🥣 a fiber supplement if needed

Start small. Even 4–5 grams before meals can make a difference.

Your metabolism doesn’t need punishment.
It needs support.

Most people think insulin resistance means high blood sugar.

The truth is that insulin resistance often starts years before blood sugar becomes abnormal.

If you're struggling with:
✔️ Weight loss resistance
✔️ Cravings
✔️ Afternoon energy crashes
✔️ Brain fog
✔️ Increased belly fat

your body may be showing signs of insulin resistance even if you've been told your labs are "normal."

In this video, I explain some of the symptoms I see most often and the labs I use to evaluate insulin resistance more accurately.
