Be the Love Wellness Be the Love Wellness is a Yoga, Movement, Healing, and Mindfulness Studio with small town community roots. Tiny miracles happen here, yogi.

We are reinventing the wellness experience through yoga, community, and a whole lot of heart. Whether it’s touching your toes for the first time, or finding yourself less stressed, more at ease, or sleeping soundly -- everyone has a story about how our work has positively improved their lives. Our members have healed chronic back pain, gained enough strength to do their first plank at 68 years old

, lifted into their first headstands, and found a whole new level of wellness and wellbeing. And these are just a few of the countless stories they tell. If you talk to any of our regular people, they’ll tell you of a breakthrough they had here. Not because they worked out hard or sacrificed or gave anything up. Their achievements happened because they decided to show up. And the rest is their story. So, what will your story be?

Surprise! I started teaching yoga again. 🎉🎉

It’s a slow-burn vinyasa with enough core work to get at all those squishy parts, a flavor of intensity, and a delightful stretchy finish.

First class happened today. Despite my fears and anxiousness about it, it was a great class. This all happened on a whim, and so fast! And despite the fact that it’s been 4 years and 2 weeks since my last in-person studio class, teaching today felt as natural as breathing.

I left with that sparkle I’ve been missing for so long. And I am so so grateful that friends pulled me out of hibernation, because I needed this. And I am so grateful to be back!

The timing is also funny - I opened a temporary studio this same week of 2018.

So there it is. Join me Saturdays at 10am at MetroWest Kung Fu, downtown Maynard. Let’s move and breathe together!

You know that first day of a cold, when you’re still healthy, but you can feel that groggy, yucky feeling coming through?

And then, it’s like 48 degrees outside and full-on-Fall weather and all you want to do is snuggle in your warm blankets, because it’s Saturday and that’s what weekends are for?

Ya.

I had no desire to teach this morning.

But I’m the teacher.

So I had to practice today.

And I swear it’s the accountability to practice-because-I-have-to that is the only reason I still show up on my mat all the time.

Anyway, I’m really glad I started this day with yoga. I feel 1,000-times better and way WAY more ready to take on this day.

Which is good, because with sports and trying to fit in friends, we have a busy Saturday coming up. As always.

See the beautiful space?!

It’s my office/ studio, located in the Mill office complex in downtown Maynard.

I currently use it about 4 hrs a week.

It has the following features:
+ WiFi
+ 2 separate rooms
+ 3 desks
+ Water / sink in studio
+ Hot water maker for tea
+ Couch
+ On-site garage parking
+ Located downtown, with plenty of options for dining and coffee
+ On-site fitness facility
+ For photographers: access to the entire mill complex, which includes a grassy outdoor space, lots of exposed brick, long hallways, and some gorgeous classic old mill building brick-and-beam features.

I also have a set up for photography (as you can see), video recording equipment, and a new iMac that I can consider offering access to as well.

It makes for BEAUTIFUL photos and would be ideal for photographers, or for someone that is looking for a beautiful office setup closer to home for video conferences, client meetings, etc..

I’m looking for 2-3 people to share the space. You would set your schedule, block off the days you’ll be there, and have the ability to change schedule, based on availability.

The ideal person is someone that is highly communicative and collaborative, able to send texts in the event schedule changes, and supports / works with / is kind to the other co-renters in the space.

In my ideal dream setup, we develop a small collaborative of creative entrepreneurs that meets every other month, supports each other with referrals, and helps keep up this gorgeous space while building our businesses, and developing awesome connections along the way.

Rent range is $300-$800 / month depending on the number of hours / days you plan to use it.

In our members online studio this month, we're exploring the theme of BALANCE with 30 days of movement, meditation, breathwork, and simple life practices based in Ayurveda.
As we leave behind the cold, dry, quiet, contemplative season of winter, and invite in the warm, wet, busy, and connected season of spring, we have an opportunity to begin again.
The season of spring is a time of renewal.
It’s a chance to start fresh.
To build something new.
And to explore possibility by sowing new seeds and watching as they break ground, flourish, and grow.
In many ways, as we enter into this particular spring, we are truly beginning again. As Be the Love officially embarks on our digital-only studio, we've added some fancy features and a new way to experience the richness and depth that yoga and Ayurveda offer.
We're looking beyond the mat, offering a wider range of practices that you can integrate into your life.
Truly, it is our answer to meeting the need that so many of us have when we begin yoga: to let it land in our lives, help to calm and nourish us, to finally tackle the stress, and find a more balanced, peaceful, and easy way of being.
To celebrate this new beginning, we're offering a FREE Live workshop - via zoom - on Wednesday 4/27 at 6:30pm.
This workshop will cover how Ayurveda, the sister science to yoga, utilizes qualities and practices to help bring the body, mind, and being back into balance.

ACCESSING YOUR INNER JOY
We all have down days. And in winter, year 2 of the pandemic, those down days can be down weeks.
Here are some ways that help me access my inner joy:
+ moving my body
+ stretching, yoga
+ walking, running, fitness
+ music, dancing, physical expression
+ creative outlets like art, creating music, cooking or baking
+ completing tasks on the to-do list
+ connecting with people that make you happy
+ laughter, comedy
+ singing, dancing to your favorite uplifting or empowering music
