Blake’s Battle Please keep Blake in your prayers. After going to urgent care for a cough, a chest X-ray revealed a serious and unexpected medical emergency.

He was rushed to Children’s Hospital. The medical team discovered a recurrence of a metastatic Wilms’ tumor.

Blake is out of the PICU and now on the oncology floor. He looks and feels so much better, he is resting and focusing on recovering and getting his blood counts back up.

Thank you all so much for your continued prayers, love, and support. 🙏🧡 He will be here for a few more days while his body gets stronger and he continues to recover.

It’s a packed hospital here at Children’s, and it just breaks my heart to see how many children are suffering. Please pray for healing, strength, comfort, and peace for every child and every family walking through this. ❤️

Start of Cycle 12 🎗️🧡
Blake has had an interesting summer, to say the least. He’s faced an allergic reaction to a platelet transfusion, a blood infection, and even had to have his port removed. Thankfully, the amazing medical team was able to place a new one, and he’s back on track. 🙏

Over the last two weeks, Blake has been getting stronger and feeling better, which has us so thankful as he begins the final 3 very strong cycles of chemo. We can finally see that light at the end of the tunnel! 🌟

Please continue to keep Blake in your prayers—for strength, good health, and continued progress as he takes on these final cycles. We’re praying that he stays strong all the way to ringing that bell 🔔, just in time for his 16th birthday! 🎂🎗️🧡

One day, one cycle, one step closer. You’ve got this, Blake! 💪🧡🎗️
