There was a time when I avoided the weight room, too.
I worried that everyone knew more than I did.
I felt out of place.
I questioned whether I even belonged there.
After becoming a mom, those feelings only grew stronger. I didn’t feel comfortable in my body anymore, and walking into the gym felt intimidating.
But here’s what I learned…
Confidence doesn’t come before you start.
It comes because you start.
One workout turns into another.
One small victory becomes a little more confidence.
Before you know it, the place that once felt intimidating becomes the place that reminds you how capable you really are.
If you’re the mom who’s been driving past the gym, standing outside the weight room, or convincing yourself you’ll start “when you’re in better shape”…
This is your reminder:
🤍 You don’t have to feel ready.
🤍 You don’t have to know everything.
🤍 You don’t have to be perfect.
You just have to take the first step.
One day, you’ll look back and realize that walking into that weight room wasn’t just the start of your fitness journey—it was the moment you started believing in yourself again.
If this message was for you, leave a 🤍 in the comments.
And if walking into the gym still feels overwhelming, send me STRONG. I’d love to help you build the confidence, the plan, and the support to get started.
