🥀 The Church Has Left the Building 🥀
On sunday, we stepped out into our city, trusting the Lord to direct our steps—and He did!
Our prayer was simple: that we would go into our community carrying the aroma of Christ (2 Corinthians 2:15) That wherever we walked, we would bring His love, change the atmosphere, and remind people that they are seen, valued, and loved by Jesus.
From parks to hospital hallways, parking lots to the aisles of Walmart, God opened doors and created opportunities for connection.
One of our favorite moments happened at the hospital. As we were preparing to turn around and leave, we were given access inside. We were welcomed into every wing, visiting nurse and doctor stations throughout the building. By God’s perfect provision, we had enough flowers for every staff member we encountered.
As we were leaving, I overheard a receptionist say, “We need that kind of energy around here.”
What a beautiful reminder that a simple act of kindness can disrupt someone’s hard day with bouquet of flowers, a smile, a prayer, or a simple reminder that they are loved by Jesus.
Thank you to everyone who prayed, donated flowers, wrote notes, and joined our summer outreach ✨🫶🏽🥀
