Southern Oregon Epilepsy Group

Southern Oregon Epilepsy Group Nonprofit organization for those affected by Epilepsy. I myself have lost a sister to SUDEP ( Sudden Unexplained Death of Epilepsy).

Southern Oregon has been long over due for a support group for those suffering from epilepsy and the families who love them and suffer along side of them, or mourn for the ones we have lost. It is our goal to help educate, support and help provide grants to receive medical devices to those in need of life saving monitoring devices. Although our goal is to implement one of these devices to everyone

who has epilepsy, we will choose those most in need based on funding. We want to be a safe place to speak about our journey and the hits, misses and successfulness of our individual experiences.

We celebrate the life of Dr. Charlotte Dravet, who passed away this past weekend. She leaves behind a remarkable legacy in epilepsy research. Her pioneering work in identifying Dravet syndrome brought vital awareness and understanding to a rare and devastating condition. We honor her contributions and extend our heartfelt condolences to her family and all those touched by her life’s work. 💜
