Lately, I've been reflecting on what it truly means to support a small business.
Starting IVH Wellness about 15 months ago was one of the most rewarding—and intimidating—steps I've taken in my career.
It was exciting, but it was also scary.
When a business carries your name, reputation, time, money, and heart, every success and setback feels personal.
One thing I've learned is that I can't do it all on my own.
My kids have helped with my website and technology. I ask questions, use available resources, and learn as I go. And yes, sometimes this 50-something-year-old woman still needs someone younger to point out which button to click. 😂
Maybe that's why I value support so deeply.
Supporting a small business isn't always about spending money.
Sometimes it's liking a post.
Sharing information with a friend.
Leaving a review.
Recommending someone by saying, "You should give Debbie a call."
Or simply offering encouragement: "I see what you're doing. Keep going."
Those small gestures mean more than most people realize.
To everyone who has trusted me, referred someone, shared a post, sent an encouraging message, or walked through my door—thank you. I am truly grateful.
I never take that support for granted.
I'm proud of what IVH Wellness is becoming, but most of all, I'm thankful that God has given me the opportunity, the courage, and the people around me to continue building it.
And I'm not done yet. ❤️
