Let’s talk fleas! 🦟🐶

Fleas have been SO bad this year, and I want to take a moment to remind everyone about my flea policy.

I do my best to enforce a strict no-flea policy in order to protect every dog that comes into my grooming bus. Unfortunately, I do not offer flea baths or flea treatments.

When a dog comes in with fleas, I have to stop grooming for the day and thoroughly treat and clean my entire bus before I can safely groom another client. Because the grooming space is small and enclosed, there is a very real risk of fleas transferring from one dog to another if the bus is not treated immediately. This has unfortunately resulted in me losing quite a bit of income this year from having to reschedule the rest of my day.

Please check your dog for fleas before their appointment. ❤️

I completely understand that sometimes owners genuinely do not know their dog has fleas until we discover them during grooming. This post is not directed at anyone specific—this has happened several times throughout the summer, and I simply want to make everyone aware of why it is so important.

If you have an upcoming appointment and you know your dog has fleas, please treat them before their appointment and let me know ahead of time. I can do my best to place them at the end of my grooming day so I can treat the bus afterward and avoid putting other clients at risk.

My goal is always to provide a clean, safe, and comfortable grooming environment for every single dog that steps into my bus. 🐾💜

I want to apologize to anyone who has messaged the business page and hasn’t gotten a response yet! We have been EXTREMELY busy lately, and unfortunately I’ve gotten pretty far behind on messages. 😅

A family that is very near and dear to my heart is dealing with an extremely sudden and unexpected loss. Michele was a mother of 11 kids and also multiple grandchildren, she was the backbone of her family and also my mother’s best friend.
