When evaluating lips, I look at more than volume alone. Key considerations include upper-to-lower lip ratio, vermilion show, definition of the white roll, projection, and how the lips relate to the surrounding facial features.

For this patient, treatment was focused on restoring volume and improving contour while maintaining natural proportions. Notice the increased upper lip show and improved definition without significant overexpansion of the lip itself.

Natural results are usually the product of respecting anatomy rather than chasing volume.

This patient had undergone facelift surgery previously and wanted to restore a more defined jawline and neck contour as the aging process continued.

At just 3 months following her secondary facelift, she already has a smoother jawline, a more youthful neck, and a refreshed appearance. She also underwent CO2 laser skin resurfacing to improve skin texture and overall skin quality, while still looking completely like herself.

Lower Eyelid Rejuvenation 👀

This patient’s lower eyelid rejuvenation was approached with a combination strategy because under-eye aging is rarely caused by just one issue.

In her case, the concerns included:
➡️ Protruding fat pads creating “bags” under the eyes
➡️ Redundant crepey skin
➡️ Loss of skin quality and elasticity

To address this naturally and comprehensively, I performed:
✅ Transconjunctival lower blepharoplasty to removes or repositions excess fat through the inside of the eyelid
✅ Lower Eyelid skin pinch excision for removal of excess lower eyelid skin to improve wrinkling and skin redundancy without changing the natural shape of the eye
✅ Laser skin resurfacing to tighten the skin, improve texture, soften fine lines, and restore a healthier glow and overall skin quality.

The under-eye area is one of the first places we show fatigue and aging but when treated thoughtfully, it can completely brighten the face.

I started with a softer, more flexible filler to enhance hydration and natural movement…but the lips just weren’t building the structure we needed. Instead of overfilling or forcing a result, I adjusted the plan and incorporated a more supportive filler to add body and definition.
