Micah Update 💛

Mom here—Micah, Holland, and I are headed to St. Jude the first week of August for his routine maintenance scans, labs, and a scheduled check-in with his care team.

Back in February, Micah reached a huge milestone- getting his scans without sedation, and we’re hopeful he’ll be able to do it again.

We do everything we can to make these trips feel light and fun, but the truth is… returning to St. Jude always carries the quiet weight of everything he has overcome. Your prayers mean so much.

The beautiful news is- he’s thriving. Recently, he’s become really passionate about learning how the body works and how to care for his health. Not just because of the P53 gene variant, but more so because he has learned to value his body and is grateful for life in the fullest ways.

He turns 10 on July 28th and will be spending his day at the waterpark his pick, of course.

He is pure joy. So easy and so fun to celebrate. ❤️

Micah was ready to roll yesterday morning with lots of legos, treasure hunt gifts, a ton of prayer, and all smiles. Safe flight with Dad & checked in ready to build legos at the St. Jude hotel. Two days of scans. Attempting them without sedation for the first time. Thank you so much for praying. It means so much to us. Mighty Micah, you’ve got this sweet boy! ♥️

Micah James will be flying to St. Jude on February 16th for his 5 year scans for ACC. These will be his last scans for ACC and then will only require yearly scans to monitor LI–fraumeni.

Please be in prayer for Micah and Dad while they travel & have two FULL days of scans, labs, and all things medical. Please keep siblings in your prayers as well. It’s always a time when we all kinda hold our breath & steady our hearts. ♥️

It was a FULL day. Micah loves coming to St. Jude. Everyone is always so kind. This trip was special for many reasons. Lots of familiar faces. Lots of good healthy food options. New buildings to explore. His first appointment was peaceful and only one poke for his labs. His deep breathing and focus skills are admirable. His labs looked great, and as always his oncologist’s eyes filled with tears as she told us His scans were CLEAR.

We are so grateful and our hearts are full.

Traveling with Micah James involves airport laughing- Races on the moving walkway- Dizzy spins on the rolling luggage- Letting him lead the way on lots of things because he’s 9 and it’s fun to watch him thrive- Lots and lots of hugs- Legos- Long talks- Holding hands and Super kind humans around us all day.

Scans and appointments back to back tomorrow.

Thanks for keeping us in your prayers. Its hard on the siblings for sure.

Praying Micah’s day is smooth tomorrow- always clear scans- and easy labs.

Due to the oncologist needing to reschedule- Micah’s scans at St. Jude were moved to August 19th ♥️🙏🏻

Micah James update ☀️

Micah is thriving. Living his best life. Continuing to implement all things health and healing as a way of life. 🌱

On August 5th we head to St. Jude for full scans, multiple appointments, and labs. Please keep him and the family in your prayers ♥️

As always we will do his treasure hunt to make the day less grueling.

Also, Micah’s 9th birthday is on July 28th and I honestly just can’t even handle the amount of gratitude I feel about celebrating Micah James 👑

It’s that time. Micah’s four year full scans at St. Jude. Micah was given a less than 10% chance (and that was generous for many reasons) for survival in the first year. God led us so well with dreams, visions, unexplainable wisdom, favor with doctors from all over the world.

We used sooooo many integrative therapies and continue to. Micah is thriving and living his best life with very minimal side effects of the harsh chemotherapy, and multiple surgeries.

It’s never an easy time for the family when Micah heads to St. Jude, please keep our family in your thoughts and prayers. Imma ride the fight and flight response out while cleaning the house with a toothbrush (haha- kidding). In all seriousness I’ll be present with kids, stress cleaning, and talking to God for the next week. ♥️

Thank you to everyone who sent gifts for him for his treasure hunt, and I’m washing his Aunt Tae blanket now ♥️

Time to prep for Micah’s February trip to St. Jude.

Bobby and Micah leave the second week of February. This trip involves two days of travel (with layovers), and two full days of scans, labs, and multiple tests. Please pray BIG for them and the family.

Micah continues to be NED, echo showed his heart is perfect, labs great, and growing BIG and Strong.

Three years off of treatment scans. ♥️✈️👑

There was a tiny bit of inflammation in his lungs but working with Zuza's Way Integrative Care we have a plan to heal him. 🌱
