Preschool or ABA? 🤔
This is one of the most common questions we hear from families—and the answer is different for every child.
Preschool offers wonderful opportunities for socialization, classroom routines, and early academics. ABA therapy provides individualized instruction to build communication, play, behavior regulation, attention, safety, and other foundational skills that help children succeed in all environments.
For some children, preschool is the perfect next step. For others, spending more time in ABA before kindergarten can help build the skills needed to confidently participate, learn, and thrive in a classroom setting.
The goal isn't to choose one because it's "better." The goal is to choose the path that best supports your child's unique needs and long-term success.
If you're unsure which option is right for your child, talk with your BCBA, pediatrician, and educational team. Together, you can create a plan that prepares your child for a successful future.
