Some of what shapes a recovery can't be seen on a claim file.

The worker who's stopped going to appointments. The spouse who mentions he hasn't been sleeping. The subtle shift in someone's affect that tells an experienced nurse something isn't adding up.

Recent study from WCRI confirms what good case management has always understood: access to the right provider, at the right time, changes everything.

The study found that injured workers treated within medical provider networks receive care sooner, incur lower costs, and spend less time on temporary disability. In-network claims showed 26% lower total costs and disability duration reduced by 1.5 weeks compared to out-of-network claims.

Where jurisdictionally allowed, our case managers help ensure injured workers are connected to appropriate providers quickly because delays in care become delays in recovery.
