✨ Calling my people near and far. ✨

Danet has a LOT going on right now. Some of us can physically show up. Most of us can't. But distance doesn't mean we can't do something.

So send the positive energy. Send the good vibes. Share her story. Check in. Send dinner. Help with the kids. Do the practical stuff.

💙 What we're putting out there:

• Danet's body tolerates treatment well and responds strongly.

• Her bone pain eases and becomes more manageable.

• Procedures go smoothly, and her body heals well.

• Her care team has clarity and keeps finding the right options for her.

• Danet gets the rest, strength, and peace she needs.

• Her kids get plenty of normal kid life—play dates, carpooling, fun, laughter, and time to just be kids.

• The people around her keep showing up in ways that actually help.

And if you're wondering what can I actually do from far away?

Share her story. Donate if you can. Send a meal or gift card. Help with groceries or household necessities. Help with transportation or appointments. Help with the kids. Even a small thing can take something off her plate.

You don't have to do everything.

Just do something.

Good intentions are great. But a little action behind them can make a real difference.

So send the positive energy, good vibes, and all the love her way. 💙🖤✨

She's got a whole damn collective behind her. 🐉

World Cancer Support Month 💛

August is World Cancer Support Month, and I think it’s a reminder we all need:

Cancer doesn't just affect the person who receives the diagnosis.

It affects their family. Their friends. Their caregivers. Their finances. Their work. Their plans. Their mental and emotional well-being. It changes everyday life in ways that are difficult to understand unless you've lived it.

And that's why support matters.

Support isn't always knowing the right thing to say.

Sometimes it's showing up.

Sometimes it's bringing dinner, helping with expenses, sharing a fundraiser https://gofund.me/d795fc8c9 , offering a ride, sitting quietly, listening without trying to fix anything, or simply sending a message that says, I'm still here.

And sometimes, it's remembering that cancer doesn't have an expiration date on the need for support.

Our friend Danet is living that reality.

Danet is fighting stage 4 uveal melanoma, and her journey has been filled with difficult decisions, treatments, appointments, uncertainty, and challenges that no one should have to face alone.

This week is another big one for her.

So while we're talking about cancer support this month, we'd love to ask for something simple:

Please send Danet some positive energy this week. 💜

Whatever that looks like for you—good thoughts, a kind message, a little extra love sent her way—we'll take it.

Because sometimes you can't take away the diagnosis.

You can't make the appointments disappear.

You can't fix everything.

But you can show someone they're not walking through it alone.

And that matters more than you might ever know.

💜 Support patients. Support caregivers. Support families. Keep showing up.

✨ Calling my helpers near and far! ✨

Danet has a big week ahead—Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday are all appointment/treatment days, with her lumpectomy still ahead. 💙🖤

If you're the praying, meditating, manifesting, or positive-energy-sending type, please send some good energy her way!

💙 Empowering suggestions:

• Her body continues to tolerate treatment well and respond strongly.
• All visible lesions continue to shrink and respond significantly.
• Every procedure goes safely and smoothly.
• Her vital signs remain stable.
• Her body heals and recovers exactly as it needs to.
• Her immune system stays strong.
• Her mind stays calm, clear, and grounded.
• Her strength and resilience continue to grow.
• Every appointment brings good information, good decisions, and another step forward.
• Her care team continues making the right decisions for her.
• This week goes smoothly and brings some really good news. 💙🖤

Thank you for every message, good thought, bit of encouragement, and positive energy. It means more than you know.

If Danet doesn't respond, don't take it personally. She's focusing on getting through this week and taking care of herself. ❤️

Please keep sending positive energy her way. 💙🖤✨

Danet Kym Peterson finds her calm in music.

It’s always been one of those things that gives her a place to breathe. She was a member of a choir, and if you’ve ever heard her sing, you know she has a beautiful voice. She’s sung with friends, including performing “For Good” with a friend, and has spent so many moments surrounded by people who love music as much as she does.

And she is a true Swiftie. 😂💕 She loves Taylor Swift, and getting to go to the Eras Tour with her mom and sisters was such a special memory.

But Taylor isn’t the only musical love in her life. Danet also loves Wicked — because apparently she needs both Taylor Swift and Broadway-level emotional devastation in her life. 😂💚

I love these pictures because they show Danet being Danet.

Singing. Laughing. Going to concerts with her mom and sisters. Sharing music with friends. Getting dressed up. Finding the things that make her happy.

Because cancer is a huge part of what she’s fighting right now, but it isn't who she is.

She’s a mom. A daughter. A sister. A friend. A musician. A Swiftie. A Wicked fan. A dragon-loving badass.

And music is one of the places where she gets to just breathe. 💚🎶
