259 days of you & me 🫶🏼
what a privilege it was to experience the beautiful gift of pregnancy. A true honor to bring new life into this world, to be your cozy home for 9 whole months, to feel you move & to watch my belly grow as you grew.
pregnancy after loss brought its own set of challenges. It was tough to say the least. I had to fight a constant battle in my brain to stay hopeful and positive while also protecting my heart from more pain. After years of infertility and loss I truly believed my body was broken and it was a daily challenge to remain confident that my body could keep our babe growing and thriving. each appointment and ultrasound was reassuring but it still didn’t seem possible that a fully cooked, healthy baby would be our reality.
I have a whole new appreciation for the female body. Wow, just wow. I will truly forever be amazed and in awe of what our bodies are capable of. (currently mind blown at my body’s ability to feed my baby 🥹 and ability to recover post- birth).
we will be forever grateful for IVF, the doctors that helped us along the way & our amazing support system that carried us through the hard times.
to anyone in the waiting season, I know how painfully hard it can be. It feels like your turn may never come, but I encourage you to keep going. keep advocating for yourself, keep seeking answers and keep the hope alive. because one day you too will be on the other side.
the journey was so worth it for you - my little love, my rainbow babe, my sweet sweet son Eli Robert 🩵
I am so excited to be a mom!!!!
