Miss Florida's Outstanding Teen Pageant has been organized to encourage positive achievement by helping to nurture and build the scholastic achievement, creative accomplishment, healthy living and community involvement. Among its initiatives, the Miss Florida's Outstanding Teen will host a state competition intended to encourage and reward the talent, communication skills, community service, and a

cademic achievement of girls between 13 and 17 years of age. The winner of the state competition will represent the state of Florida in the national, Miss America's Outstanding Teen Pageant.

So proud of our very own, Miss Florida's Outstanding Teen, Elizabeth Fechtel, the new Miss America's Outstanding Teen. Congratulations to Elizabeth-- she also earned $25,500 in scholarships and a 4 year tuition scholarship to Auburn University. Way to go!
