It’s frankly horrible. I had it the first time and I am experiencing it again. On a normal day I battle anxiety but during postpartum it’s a whole other beast. ANDDDD I don’t understand this at all but every other day is a bad anxiety day. Like this morning I am having one hell of a time dealing with things but yesterday felt like rainbows 🌈 and butterflies 🦋 🙃.

I am sharing this to say, that if you experience this, you aren’t alone ❤️ I am trying my best, and know you are too.

(Story continued…) it took so much faith in my husband and courage to let him carry me to bed despite my fear. I am so grateful though because the bed was way more comfortable lol. Once in bed the midwives encouraged me to do an IV of electrolytes to help me feel back to normal. So we do… but after I had to go p*e 😆 and I thought I felt well enough to walk to the bathroom, but I apparently that wasn’t the best idea…

After I used the bathroom I passed out again and this time my blood pressure was even lower and my heart rate high. They told me I should go to the hospital…

As I lay uncontrollably shaking on the bathroom floor, I complied. Within 10 minutes I was being put on a stretcher. The fear was that I would need a blood transfusion to stabilize because at this point it was 4 hours after birth. Thankfully my blood pressure went up pretty quickly. I was given more IV fluids and at the hospital, my hemoglobin was tested. And thankfully I did NOT need a blood transfusion 😮‍💨. I was discharged - reluctantly - after about 5 hours. Lol I am not the best patient in a medical setting, they kept trying to give me medications which I kept turning down. Lol they kept making me sign papers saying I refused treatment 😆.

All in all it was such a crazy day but I have recovered so well since then and am now taking care of my family of 4 with tremendous support from my family & friends ♥️💕

Thanks for reading! ♥️

As I went to pick a photo from my birth album, I clicked on this one and immediately teared up. This is my husband carrying me to bed an hour after giving birth. The trust I put into him in this moment was enormous. Maybe 30 minutes after giving birth I passed out 😳…

But let’s reverse a little bit. This birth story is crazy 😱 I gave birth at home to my baby who was breech! Around 33 weeks I could feel baby’s head above my belly button and knew she wasn’t in an optimal position. So for 6 weeks I did EVERYTHING to get her to flip. I did spinning babies positions, chiropractor appointments using the websters method, Moxi, acupuncture and finally even tried a gentle ECV that “failed” meaning she wasn’t turning and we weren’t going to force her.

Obviously this brought up a lot of fear I had to fight through and a lot of surrendering. So in my state, most midwives don’t deliver breech babies. I had to hire an additional midwife to attend my birth who was legally able to and had the experience to, deliver a breech baby.

My contractions started at 11:45 on a Sunday night and for two hours I was honestly skeptical that I was really in labor. But they never let up 😆 so clearly I was. Being this was my second baby, I anticipated my labor being much shorter than my first (but anything is shorter than 75 hours lololol). By 4am I called the midwives to come over. By 5am, a leg emerged 😱 it was the craziest thing. I didn’t end up pushing her fully out until almost 8am.

I had done it! I delivered my baby breech safely with an 8 hour labor ☺️ I was so so relieved I didn’t have to go to the hospital for a c-section. It was so important to me that I kept antibiotics away from my baby so she can develop a healthy immune system. Now back to passing out…

So during labor and after I lost a lot of blood. And I passed out trying to get out of the birth tub for a couple of seconds. I stayed on the floor eating food and drinking electrolytes for a while until my midwives suggested I move to the bed. I was terrified of getting up but also nervous to be picked up. Eventually I decided my husband carrying me was my best option. (Story to be continued…)

It tickles me that the veggies are green or purple ☺️
These veggies are some of the best for eczema either because they are non reactive for most people, are nutritionally dense, or both!

There is an entire section of The Ultimate Eczema Food Guide for vegetables and how they relate to eczema. It tells you if they feed candida, high/low in histamines and salicylates, and if they trigger mast cells to release histamine. Comment “food guide” to learn more!
