❤️‍🔥Path of the Wild Heart❤️‍🔥

when the perfect combination of fate, curiosity, and a pinch of the flu leads you to a hostel on the coast of ecuador..🐢

i was lead to gladys ~ owner of villas columbia iin puerto lopez, this mother of the world’s sentients has one of the biggest, most compassionate hearts
instead of filling the landscape around her hostel with fancy flowers, she uses the space as a sanctuary for injured turtles ~ offering a home to these little creatures when there was no room for them anywhere else

meet george… he’s one of several tortuga refugees and a sucker for bananas 🥰 I adore him!!

and because apparently her nurturing extends to wandering humans too, gladys made my sick little self a cup of tea with a splash of motherly love and told me to go rest for the day

I raise my tea cup in "salud!" for landing right where i’m supposed to be 🥰

sometimes divinity whispers sometimes she screams

today she breaths through every part of my ~ness

the beach cradles my light with all her elements

🌞fire of the sun,
🌊water of the ebbs and flows,
😘💨air ~ she who romances the waves
🌴earth gifting grains of sand and wood that drifts

~ Ayampe is where we will land on the first day of this beloved retreat...a beautiful launching point into our visit with the whales 🥰

one of the most meaningful parts of ❤️‍🔥 Path of the Wild Heart is experiencing Ecuador alongside the people who call this beautiful land home

our local guides, translators and drivers bring not only their knowledge, but a genuine love and connection to this land, its people, and the energy it holds

their stories, wisdom, and pride in sharing their home adds something to this journey that simply can’t be recreated

this is their home they've opened their hearts and arms with welcoming spirits as we step into this adventure only 15 days away!

I had the privilege of spending such a magical day celebrating momma Jo (aka Joanne Helbig) on her birthday.Joanne is one of those beautiful humans who radiates so much love, warmth, and light, and I’m incredibly grateful our paths crossed last year and that I’ve gotten to experience her brilliant spirit. Watching her childlike wonder and pure joy at the lantern display at the Cleveland Zoo, was an absolute highlight~it was impossible not to light up right along with her.
I loved getting to spend the day laughing, exploring, and celebrating alongside Joanne, , and Tom’s dad (aka Rocky) 🥰

Happy Birthday, Joanne! Keep shining that beautiful light of yours. I love you 💕

Bonus gratitude to Rocky for a super fun ride on his new soft tail Harley!
