💙 Middleboro SEPAC is back! 💙

Do you have a child with an IEP or 504 Plan? Are you navigating special education and sometimes feel like you’re trying to figure it all out on your own?

You don’t have to. We’re all in this together. 🤝

The Middleboro Special Education Parent Advisory Council (SEPAC) is a group of parents who understand the journey because we’re living it, too. We volunteer our time to connect families with resources, provide support, listen, and help empower parents as they advocate for their children.

Throughout the year, we’ll be hosting informative workshops, guest speakers, special events, and opportunities to connect with other families in our community.

📍 Meetings: Wednesdays at 6:30 PM
📍 Location: Middleboro High School (MHS)

Middleboro’s own Valerie Rufo, post graduate educator, will be leading the conversation and sharing her knowledge and experiences with navigating the systems and supports for young adults with disabilities. Sensory-Friendly Santa is coming back to Middleboro December 17th at 6:30pm! 🎅✨

Join Middleboro SEPAC at the Middleboro Early Childhood Center for a calm, welcoming Sensory-Friendly Photos with Santa event. Families can enjoy:
🎄 One-on-one time with Santa (about 5 minutes per family)
📸 Photos with Santa (you can take your own or we can help!)
🍪 Milk, water & cookies
🎨 A fun, sensory-friendly holiday craft

Cost is $5 per child, max $12 per family. Space is limited and time slots are designed with fewer guests and a quieter environment to help our kids feel comfortable. You’re encouraged to bring any comfort items or favorite toys that help your child feel at ease. 💚

Join us for an evening of calm in the chaos of our lives!

When caring for kids with complex needs, we often forget to care for ourselves. But as parents juggling extra therapies and school meetings, we truly need to prioritize self-care that much more. 🧘🏼‍♂️
