Hi everyone!
I just want to address a hiccup that occurs sometimes in the scheduling process,
•In Person Consultation•
A lot of people may seem to be “sketched out”
Whenever I tell them that I do not do any “in person consultations”,
Things were very different back in the day and how people ran the tattoo shop process.
I am by appointment only , I do not accept walk-ins.
so it is a little more different, especially in this day and age with how my tattoo process works.
I do not really do any in person consultations unless there is a reason on my end why I would need you to come in ,in person upfront/prior to the appointment.
Everything is done digitally these days, from designing - to scheduling, all of it except for the hands-on tattooing!
At the ease of our messages, I am able to go back with each and every client on my books, day by day and read over all of the specific incorporations and/or details for each person that I am working with!
Because I deal with hundreds of clients a month, it would be very hard to remember all of the details and incorporations that each specific person told me just to my ears.
unless I wrote it down in a notebook, but it is just way more technologically advanced and more convenient to follow the process and lock in with a deposit and from there, the full process starts and you have my full attention to go over all of the details and info and I have it right there in Messages to take into the design process with me and take my time on really perfecting the design and making adjustments if needed once I send it back to you to confirm that you like it!
Versus in the older days, they would have you come in for a “ in person consult “ and draw it behind the counter in a very big rush because they have you sitting in the lobby waiting etc.
Versus I am able to take my time and really play around with ideas and send it back-and-forth to you to confirm everything looks good and the layout is perfect!
I also keep my schedule very booked as well , so I am either in my Shop hands-on working with back-to-back appointments ,
Or I have my kids waiting on me at home so if I am not in the shop, I am with my kids / taking care of my babies! ❤️
Basically, once you show me you are 100% serious , and would lock in with your deposit with me, that shows me that you are 100% serious about taking the process further and that I am able to really go over all of the details and options with you as well as all of my availability, Sending it back-and-forth with dates that line up to your schedule etc!
Whenever you come in to your scheduled day/time , I have everything fully stenciled, full station set up , and chair set up and ready for us to start the actual tattooing on the skin process! No waiting around. No rushing. No obligation to take the design i first draw up/ design etc.
I just wanted to come on here and explain this out because I have a lot of messages / new inquirers on a weekly basis that end up completely backing out of booking with me when they truly want to, but they just don’t trust the process because I don’t do in person consultations!
I would absolutely love to work with any and everyone!
it is just a simple/also different way that I run my process, but I am trying to do it to make it much more easier and convenient for everyone as well as allow me to do the design comfortably, with no rushes, how it should be!
