there are two reasons I’m still hosting this Playgroup five years later.

I LOVE what it’s become
& YOU keep showing up.

it’s a safe place to learn, grow & sometimes just simply be among others who get it.

it’s ok if you forget the diaper bag, the change of clothes, the pacifier, the whatever you think is pertinent to survival.

it’s ok if feeding isn’t perfect or honestly downright still pretty damn difficult

it’s ok if your baby is “fussy” or cries
& it’s ok to not be sure what your baby is trying to tell you.

it’s ok to feel overwhelmed & even cry yourself a time or two.

all you need to do is show up with your baby, some curiosity & an open mind.

Listen, you’ve told me how you wish you would have found this community sooner. You’ve told me how grateful you are for the relationships you’ve built with other Mothers & the built in playmates your baby now has from Playgroups & Tummy Time Classes. You’ve thanked me for connecting you to other providers who cared for you & your baby with the same passion and expertise that I did.

Now you can make a difference in your girlfriend’s Motherhood. It doesn’t have to be her first baby. Many Mothers who attend our Prenatal Potluck are Mothers who never found that community the first or even second time around.

Maybe you know another Mother who hasn’t grown up here & may be looking for friends going through to the same season she is.

Tell her she should come meet me (& Monica), share some yummy apps with us, chat with some others anticipating their baby this Fall, learn about some of our most trusted local providers & get a few newborn Babywearing tips. & then gently tell her again. Pregnancy isn’t just about preparing for birth.

It’s about preparing for the season that comes after.

Our free Seasonal Prenatal Potluck, cohosted with Monica (Newark Prenatal Massage & Yoga) in her beautiful home studio, is one of my favorite events because it creates space for something that’s often missing in modern motherhood: genuine connection.

No big presentations. No pressure. Just good food, meaningful conversation, sharing local trusted postpartum resources & a room full of women preparing for the same life-changing season.

We’ll share a meal, talk honestly about the transition into motherhood, introduce safe newborn babywearing practices, & connect you with a community that will still be here long after this one evening.

Ring Sling School is tomorrow!

I’m hosting a Ring Sling Workshop this Saturday, Aug 8th!

You do not need to have your own sling to attend — there’s plenty in the Carrier Library to practice & learn with. We’ll be at the Play Cafe in Middletown. Siblings welcome to come play while we work. This is a great learning opportunity for expecting parents as well.

Grateful (is an understatement) for other local practitioners that understand the value of early referrals & collaborative, coordinated care.

I feel so lucky to now call (📍Wilmington office) home on Thursdays.

Come see me for all of your infant physical therapy + babywearing support needs.

Appointments are baby-led. You’ll rarely hear prolonged crying in my sessions because we take the time to learn your baby’s cues & work together to respond to them. If your baby needs to eat, rest, cuddle or simply take a break, that’s what we do. Therapy should work with babies — not against them. The pace of appointments is intentionally kept slow so we can take all the time we need to help you understand what’s going on in your baby’s body & why we’re doing what we’re doing. This is how I empower you to support your baby’s movement, play, sleep & feeding — not just during our appointment, but long after our appointment ends. It’s not uncommon for me to help you adjust your baby’s positioning during feeding to accommodate their torticollis or show you how a few small changes will improve your confidence & comfort with your baby carrier.

Whether we’re working on regulation, head shape, torticollis, movement skills or babywearing, every appointment is centered around giving you the confidence to support your baby every day.

Babywearing office hours will remain available in the afternoons. These appointments range from 15 minute fit checks to 90 minute prenatal appointments with options for 60 minute postpartum initial consults, 45 minute follow up sessions & 30 minute Carrier Try-on (TBYB) sessions.
➡️This service is booked separate from physical therapy.

✨My favorite part about being in this new space is that when deemed appropriate, you may even see me for infant physical therapy at the same time you see your IBCLC for feeding support.

For the month of June, Little Baby Playgroup will run as a Mini-Series that covers Tummy Time, Babywearing & Baby Massage + a bonus week. Playgroup starts this week!

Our next Little Baby Playgroup session begins this Tuesday, June 9th — and you’re invited!

If you’re curious about how to best support your baby’s natural development (while connecting with other parents who get it), this series is for you.

Here’s what we’ll explore each week:
☀️June 9th: Tummy Time & Newborn Play - Why tummy time matters, developmental benefits and favorite tips for making it enjoyable.
☀️June 16th: Babywearing Troubleshooting & Tips - Explore developmental benefits, safe carrier setup, different styles of carriers and how to fix common comfort issues. Includes a Baby Carrier Fit Check
☀️June 23rd: Baby Massage - Learn massage strokes & understand how this practice strengthens bonding and regulation.
☀️June 30th: Extra Bonus Wrap-up Week - We’ll revisit any previous topics & dive into anything else you want to know about your baby’s development

Each 90-minute Playgroup includes 45 minutes of guided developmental play & professional instruction followed by 45 minutes of relaxed conversation & connection with other parents

A safe, judgment-free space — all questions, feelings & milestone worries welcome.

Yes, please feed & comfort your baby whenever and however needed — crying babies are not an interruption here!

Bonus: Siblings welcome — $8 discounted rate with Play Attendant supervision, so you can focus on your baby while the big kids play.

Open play reservations are closed during group time to protect those tiny, growing immune systems. Only our intimate group will be there.

I’ve been hosting this Playgroup since September 2023 & it’s truly a joy to see parents and babies grow together each week.
