What an incredible morning!

Today, we had the privilege of hosting the STARS of Oakland networking group and was reminded just how fortunate we are to be surrounded by so many dedicated professionals who are passionate about serving others.

I am honored to work alongside such amazing people in our community. Beyond the valuable conversations, I made new friendships, strengthened existing relationships, and discovered even more opportunities for collaboration to better support the seniors, families, and caregivers we serve.

One of the greatest strengths of our community is that no single organization works alone. When healthcare providers, home care agencies, senior living communities, placement specialists, real estate professionals, elder law attorneys, faith leaders, and community organizations come together, we create stronger support systems for those who need us most. These connections not only help us better serve those we meet every day, but also allow us to learn from one another, share resources, and identify new ways to support our communities. If you're looking for resources, partnerships, or simply a trusted professional connection, I encourage you to reach out. Together, we can often accomplish more than any one organization can alone.

Why We Love What We Do 💐

Is this really work?

This morning, we joined residents and patients at one of our partner facilities for a flower bouquet activity. Patients, residents, and staff gathered around the table, sharing flowers, stories, laughter, and creativity. What started as a simple activity quickly became an opportunity for connection and community.

One of the beautiful things about hospice is that moments like these are not reserved for a select few. They are shared. Everyone was invited to participate, create, and enjoy the experience together. Watching bouquets come to life was wonderful, but watching relationships bloom was even better.

Finding beauty in everyday moments, creating opportunities for connection, and helping people feel seen and valued is at the heart of what we do.

Some days, it hardly feels like work at all. ❤️

Some moments remind us why we do what we do. 💜💚

Today, we had the privilege of helping one of our hospice patients fulfill a simple but meaningful wish: another boat ride with his family.

Working alongside the incredible team at Woodland Village and the family, we helped coordinate a day filled with sunshine, laughter, and cherished memories. Our nurse, Laura, was honored to be there to support him throughout the journey, helping ensure he was safe, comfortable, and able to enjoy every moment on the water.

Hospice care is about so much more than managing symptoms. It is about honoring wishes, preserving dignity, creating meaningful experiences, and helping patients continue to live fully in the moments that matter most.

Seeing him on the lake, surrounded by family, Billy Bear in his lap, and a smile on his face, was a beautiful reminder that every day holds the opportunity for joy.

Thank you to Woodland Village, Kim and Dave, and everyone who helped make this special day possible. We are grateful to be part of a community that comes together to create moments that will be remembered for a lifetime.
