Our September hike will be in the spectacularly beautiful Muir Woods National Monument!

Advance shuttle reservations are now required by the park. We will be meeting earlier than usual and taking the 8:45 am shuttle up to the park together from the Pohono St. Park & Ride in Sausalito ($3.00). To make Shuttle reservations: https://gomuirwoods.com/muir/buy

Good news: this trail does *not* require the $10 park entrance fee.

Bring water, snack/lunch, hat, and sunblock. Please allow time to park, as the shuttle will leave on time, and don't forget to make your shuttle reservation at least 24 hours prior to the date of the hike.

A quick reminder that we have a hike this coming Saturday, 5/19, from 10am-1pm in Wildcat Canyon near Richmond. I was out last week and it was absolutely beautiful! I spied a coyote, 2 snakes, lizards, rabbits, and many birds, including a red tailed hawk. There is also a distant view across the Bay to next month's hike at Mt. Sutro. I posted photos in a folder titled Wildcat Canyon on group's Meetup page- check them out! :)

Because of construction, there are only a couple porta-potties right at the entrance, and no other bathrooms, so plan accordingly. Please remember to bring water and a hat/sunblock are recommended. As usual, feel free to bring a snack or lunch for when we stop mid-way through.

Looking forward to seeing you on Saturday morning!
