As an RN and IBCLC, I see so many new moms panic over things that are actually completely normal! If you are expecting or in the thick of the early newborn days, save this post for a 3 AM reminder. 📌
1️⃣ The "Second Night" Frenzy: Baby might suddenly want to nurse non-stop on their second night of life. They aren't starving—they are just doing the hard work of helping your milk come in!
2️⃣ Cluster Feeding: Feeling like your baby is eating every hour? It is rarely a milk supply issue. They are usually just going through a growth spurt and placing an order for tomorrow’s milk.
3️⃣ Lopsided Output: Pumping way more on one side than the other? Totally normal! Almost every mom has a "slacker" side.
You do not have to figure this out alone. Hit that follow button for daily, clinical-grade feeding tips to help you navigate your journey with confidence! 🤍
