Today’s Devotional

Dearest Lord, the depth of your wisdom cannot be fathomed. You know the number of stars in the sky and the number of hairs on my head, yet you bend your ear to those who suffer from a broken heart. When the pain is so deep words cannot convey the comfort necessary at that moment. It is only your divine touch that can bring comfort in the darkest of hours. That is when I need you most. Father, pour your healing oil over the fissure in my heart. The gaping wound of loss is wide and deep and continues to bleed. Waves of grief wash over me with uncontrollable tears. Mend my heart lord with your love and comfort me with your warm embrace. Help me feel your presence so I know I am not alone in my time of grief. My pain feels almost inconsolable but only you can contain my grief and bring me comfort. Teach me to lay my head upon the warmth of your chest and feel the heartbeat of love soothing my pain. I will cling to you in my time of loss and ask you to fill the void that only you can fill. In Jesus name, amen.

Dear Heavenly Father, before I begin my day I first want to thank You that through broken situations You can find beauty and purpose. What You did with Ruth I believe You can do with me. Therefore I thank You in advance for second chances, I thank You for putting me in the right situation at the right place with kingdom minded people who can alter the direction of my life and destiny. I thank You, like Boaz, You will present people who will fight on my behalf and intervene when life says that I should be stuck. With diligence and faithfulness as my companions I can rest assured and know that the day of my deliverance is near. Thank You Lord that You are creating a life for me that I can't even imagine! Thank You Lord that You've sent Jesus into my life to redeem me and reinstate me to my position of royalty. Hallelujah! I know You’re Just getting started, Lord, and that there’s more to come for my life! In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
