I may be walking through a storm right now, but I refuse to let the storm make me forget who God is. I’m praying against every obstacle, every setback, every closed door, and every moment that has made me question how much more I can carry.
God knows the sacrifices, the sleepless nights, the tears I’ve cried in private, and the weight I carry trying to keep everything together. He knows how much love I have poured into Big Mama’s Bistro & Catering and Unique Unity Residential Home. These businesses are more than a paycheck to me—they are my purpose. One allows me to feed people with love, while the other allows me to care for and protect people who need a safe place to call home.
I know my food is good. I know the care we provide matters. Most importantly, I know God did not give me these visions just to abandon me in the middle of the journey.
This storm may be strong, but my faith is stronger. I may bend, but I will not break. I may cry, but I will not quit. What God has for Big Mama’s Bistro & Catering and Unique Unity Residential Home cannot be taken away by any setback, person, or situation.
I believe God is working behind the scenes, even when I cannot see it. He is preparing me, strengthening me, and positioning both of my businesses for something greater. This is not the end of my story—it is only a difficult chapter before the blessing.
God, please continue to cover me, my family, my staff, my residents, my customers, and both of my businesses. Give me the strength to keep going when I feel tired and the faith to trust You when I do not understand the journey.
The storm will pass. I will survive it. Big Mama’s Bistro & Catering will rise. Unique Unity Residential Home will continue to stand. And when it is all over, I will be able to say, “Nobody but God brought me through.” 🙏🏾❤️👑
