This space in which I thrive on the social can be really confusing.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
On one side there are diets that are restrictive, create crazy rules around food, trigger disordered eating and rob you of your freedom to truly live. On the other side, extreme anti-diet culture or intuitive eating communities don’t allow women to feel comfortable about desiring to lose weight or change their b
ody.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
There IS the grey area.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I began teaching the grey area because I needed it. I did all the diets, I lived disordered eating, and I lost so much time devoting my life to what I thought was going to make me happy. But, I also share to make sure women know that they are supported no matter what their decision about their body may be and I no longer fit into one category or the other.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Most women have a really f**ked up understanding of what it means to take care of this physical body we live in and that health is not only about what you put into your body or what you don’t put into your body or how much you weigh or what you look like. It is mental, it’s emotional, it’s spiritual, it is physical, it is so many things within that we may never fully understand. That’s the woman I want to be here for.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I want to show you what eating to feel good physically and mentally really looks like FOR YOU. I want to help you seek guidance to never question yourself for your eating habits again. I want YOU to know so deeply within yourself that this is the space for you. I want to support you, encourage you, hold space for you, congratulate you..⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I will not be a part of the side that encourages you to restrict and I also will not be a part of the side that demonizes you for wanting to change your physical body. I’m standing here in the grey area for YOU babe!
