The 10 Grammy Winning artist Alwin Lopez Jarreau (Al Jarreau) was born March 12, 1940 here in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and died February 12, 2017 at the age of 76 in Los Angeles, California. This annual discounted flower sale is more than just flowers. It is a community fundraiser that helps fuel the work of Metcalfe Park Community Bridges while creating affordable and accessible opportunities for neighbors to beautify their blocks, grow their own groceries, and strengthen food sovereignty in our community.
