What a ride!
An idea that surfaced last fall finally came to fruition yesterday. It was an hnonor to create and birth the Caring for Your Root retreat with .
We always muse about the concept that if you pull the string hard enough on science, you hit spirituality and vice versa. Our retreat yesterday centered that very idea.
I’m grateful for the beautiful souls who showed up to share space with us, the magical retreat space of and of course my amazing co-lead Mao.
While in *presence* during the event yesterday, I took virtually no photos/videos, so here is a smattering of eveidence of the love and care that went into putting the event together:
Mao and I started meeting in November to plan for this and it included mannnny coffee shop dates as well as a marathon recording day where we constructed the mini course (soon to be available publicly- stay tuned).
What grounded me the most in the days leading up to the event, was preparing the food for the retreat. We intentionally created a menu rooted in the root chakra (red colors, root veggies, cooked food), and it was truly a ritual and pleasure to bring it all together. Shout out to for making the fabulous sweet potato brownies.
Will we ever do a retreat again?? Jury’s out, but stay tuned
