Slan Abhaile Orchard

The sunflowers did great this year! Orchard is doing good. We got a rose and a weeping cherry planted. Have had a little trouble with the elk. One has gotten in a couple times' so we have done a few things to keep them out and its working so far. Thankfully the didnt do any major damage, all the trees are fine!

We had fun painting birdhouses and rocks to put around the orchard.

Thank to everyone who was able to come to The Gathering yesterday. We heard some great stories and memories. A special thank you to Dan Vinson for sharing on Su***de prevention and awareness and Denise for closing the time with a blessing and prayer. Also Thank You to our friends that made food and helped serve and all those that have sewn into the Orchard!

Here is a link to the photos we took, we hope that some of you will add the photos you got.

The orchard is looking better and better, little by little. We hope you're thinking about your memories with Craig and Calin; there will be a table with paper for you to write them out and a chance to share them with everyone if you want to.

We hope you can come! July 18th is coming up quick. The Gathering will be a causal outdoor time of remembering, starting around 2pm. There will be a slide show, a place to write down stories but also a time to share them with everyone. Ruthie and Risa both would love to hear what reminds you of Craig and/or Calin. Any fun, embarrassing or heartfelt stories you have. BBQ Dinner will be served and a bonfire going in the evening.
