Former smokers are needed to help advance lung cancer research.

Researchers at the University of Minnesota are studying why people who quit smoking may remain at a higher risk for lung cancer compared to people who have never smoked. Your participation could help improve our understanding of lung cancer risk and contribute to future prevention efforts.

You may be eligible if you:
• Smoked ci******es daily
• Quit within the last 20 years
• Have tried va**ng
• Are 21 years or older

Participants will complete a virtual meeting, one in-person study visit, and a 24-hour urine collection. Those who complete the study will receive $300 for their time and contribution.
