It was a wet start this morning as SASCS left to go to Watertown, South Dakota, to deliver pump operations training at the South Dakota.Firefighters Association annual conference.

Its been a long day in the office.
All of the remining classes through the month of June have been billed out early and were mailed out today.. This is done so that all the Fire Departments can get thier invoices and reimbursement forms submitted to the MBFTE by the end of the state fiscal year. The date that these all must be submitted by is July 8, 2026.
If your one of these lucky departments. Keep your eye on the mail box!

Search and Rescue for the Walters Fire Department and Lake Crystal Fire Department is training on Basement fire attack.

Monday, SASCS had training events in Blooming Prairie, Kasota, Kenyon, Le Center and Madelia.
The classes instructed were: Emergency Vehicle Operations, Basement Fire Attack, Car Fire Attack, Confined Space Rescue, and LP Emergency Response.
I have to thank the amazing cadre of instructors that SASCS has for allowing us to train thsi many firefighters.
I was able to capture a few pictures of the Car fire training that took place in Blooming Prairie.
