Postpartum mental health is part of the national conversation right now, and we know these conversations can feel heavy—especially for new parents, families, and those who have experienced postpartum mental health challenges themselves.

At ADAA, we want you to know that effective, evidence-based help is available for postpartum anxiety, depression, OCD, and other mental health conditions. You are never alone, and recovery is entirely possible with the right care.

Recognizing the signs and symptoms—such as persistent worry, intrusive thoughts, or overwhelming sadness—is the first step toward getting support for yourself or someone you love.
