GET. THE. TATTOO.

Everyone has an opinion about tattoos—especially people who aren’t paying for it or wearing it. Cute. Here’s the thing: it’s your body. If you want the tattoo, get the tattoo.

Stop letting people say things like “tattoos are trashy” or “you’ll hate it when you’re older.” First of all… you’ll be older anyway. Second, mind your business.

Do tattoos have to mean something? Absolutely not. They can, sure—but sometimes the meaning is “I liked it.” And that’s more than enough.

So stop letting people talk you out of something you want. Life’s too short to live by someone else’s comfort level.
