High-demand jobs require resilient bodies.
But firefighting, EMS, law enforcement, corrections, military, and other responder roles often come with broken sleep, chronic stress, adrenaline, trauma exposure, inconsistent meals, and limited recovery.
And Iāve been thinking a lot about the irony of thisā¦
Many of these jobs are viewed as traditionally āmasculineā or high-performance, yet the physiology of the job can have the opposite effect on s*x hormones.
This can show up differently in men and women, but the root message is often the same:
Your body is under demand.
Low testosterone, low libido, cycle changes, fatigue, poor recovery, irritability, low motivation, or feeling flat are not always isolated hormone problems.
They are often whole-body signals.
And for first responders, those signals deserve context.
This is exactly why Iām passionate about working with this population. The job is demanding, but your health does not have to be an afterthought.
If youāre a first responder, or you love one, and youāre ready to better understand what your body is communicating through labs, symptoms, stress patterns, and lifestyle rhythms, Iād love to help you connect the dots!
