: Exposing a tumor to air during surgery/biopsy makes it spread...

False! 🚫 This is a common myth. Biopsies and surgery are essential for diagnosis and treatment planning, and they do not make cancer “leak” or spread by being exposed to air.

Some colon cancer symptoms seem small… until they are not. Three symptoms I do not want brushed off are:

1️⃣ A change in bowel habits
2️⃣ Blood in the stool
3️⃣ Feeling tired all the time

These may have other causes, but when they are new, persistent, or unexplained, they deserve a closer look.

Not every symptom should be blamed on hormones. Three symptoms I do not want brushed off too quickly:

1️⃣ Ongoing bloating
2️⃣ Bleeding between periods or after menopause
3️⃣ Pelvic pressure or pain that keeps coming back

Hormones can explain a lot, but persistent changes still deserve attention.
