Grateful for the opportunity that provided for me to share spaces with these AMAZING women.

Tonight we kicked it ’s YES Summer Series. We had girls from all over the county participating from ages 11-17. We spent time being intentional about creating a space for Black girls.

Thank you I’m so glad to still be on this journey with y’all.

Social Workers don’t always get the love we desire. Not taking away from other professionals, but there is no discount at restaurants or lavish gifts throughout the week for social workers month; believe me we need it. Anyone in the helping field deserves a celebration.
